Overview
The Short-Range Compressive Strength Tester (Model ZB-DYS) is used to determine the short-span compressive strength of materials. Its compressive strength CS is calculated as compressive force divided by width 15mm. The instrument is easy to operate, has high measurement accuracy, and has an open design for easy sample placement. It is equipped with a built-in touchscreen for selecting test methods, displaying measurement values and Linear dispersion.
Features
1. The clamping pressure can be adjusted
2. Clamp the sample pneumatically
3. The test speed can be adjusted
4. Control via touchscreen
5. Equipped with a visual control screen, it supports intuitive menu operation and multiple languages
6. The icon can display the test results and compressive strength Linear dispersion
Principle
The instrument holds a sample with a width of 15 +/- 0.1mm by means of a pneumatic device, and applies a compressive force to the sample at an adjustable pressurization speed within a clamping length of 30 +/- 0.5mm. The built-in force value Sensor and displacement Sensor measure the compressive force and compression distance in real time. After processing the data, the measurement results and compressive intensity are displayed through the touch screen. Linear dispersion.
Applications
Mechanical performance testing of materials, paper and Cardboard mass testing, Encasement material evaluation, scientific research and laboratory analysis
Standards
No specific compliance criteria are mentioned in the data
Steps
1. Connect the power supply (220VAC, 50/60Hz) and the gas source (0.5MPa).
2. Select the corresponding test method through the touchscreen.
3. Place the specimen with a width of 15 +/- 0.1mm in the open test port of the instrument.
4. Start the pneumatic clamping device to fix the sample.
5. Set up and start the test, and the instrument will be compressed at a set speed (e.g. 3 +/- 0.1mm/min).
6. After the test is completed, view the measurement value and compressive strength Linear dispersion on the touch screen.
Notice
• Power supply voltage is 220VAC and frequency is 50/60Hz.
• The air source pressure needs to be stable at 0.5 MPa.
The width of the sample should be strictly controlled within the range of 15 +/- 0.1mm.
• The clamping length must be guaranteed to be 30 +/- 0.5mm.
Please confirm that the instrument has been calibrated before the test to ensure the force value accuracy (0.15N) and displacement accuracy (0.01m).
• Follow instrument safety regulations when operating.
