ZB-COBB125 Cobb Absorber is a professional instrument of ZHIBANG brand, which is used to determine the surface Water Absorbency of adhesive paper and Cardboard (including Corrugated Board). Principle
The instrument works according to the principle of Cobb method, by placing the sample in the test area of a specific test area, and measuring its water absorption after contacting with water for a certain period of time under standard conditions, so as to evaluate the surface Water Absorbency of paper or Cardboard.

Steps
Prepare a specimen of φ 125 +/- 5mm.
Place the specimen in a test area of (100 +/- 0.2) cm ².
3. Use a press roller (length 200 +/- 0.5mm, mass 10 +/- 0.5kg) to process the specimen.
4. Place the specimen in contact with water under standard conditions.
5. Flip the instrument and perform the water absorption test according to the specified time.
6. measurement and recording of the sample water absorption.

• Make sure the sample size is φ 125 +/- 5mm.
• Check whether the roller mass (10 +/- 0.5kg) and length (200 +/- 0.5mm) meet the standards before use.
• It needs to be smooth when operating the flip mechanism.
