ZHIBANG ZB-MCY05 Coefficient of Friction Tester is mainly used for the measurement of Plastic film and sheet (or other similar materials) Static Coefficient of Friction and Dynamic Coefficient of Friction when sliding.

Principle
The instrument calculates the corresponding static Coefficient of Friction and dynamic Coefficient of Friction by driving the slider to move at a constant speed on the surface of the sample, measuring the force required for the slider to start sliding (static friction) and the force required to maintain sliding (dynamic friction).

Steps
1. Turn on the power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. Set the test parameters on the color touchscreen.
3. Fix the sample flat on the work surface.
4. Place the standard slider at the starting position of the specimen.
5, start the test, the instrument automatically drives the slider to move and measure the force value.
6. After the test is completed, the instrument automatically resets and displays the measurement results (such as average value and standard deviation).
7. It can be connected to the host computer through the RS232 interface for data communication.
Notice
Make sure the power supply is AC220V +/- 10%, 50Hz.
• Film thickness should not exceed 0.2mm.
• Check if the slider mass is 200 +/- 2g before use.
• Ensure that the traverse speed of the slider is 100 +/- 10mm/min during testing.
• The instrument has an overload protection function, but it is still necessary to avoid overload use.
• Keep the instrument work surface clean and flat to ensure test accuracy.
