The ZB-TD500 Stiffness meter is a special instrument for measuring the stiffness of paper and Cardboard under the ZHIBANG brand. The instrument is designed according to the principle of the international static bending method, and evaluates the bending stiffness of the material by measuring the resistance of the sample when bent to a specific angle.

Principle
This instrument works according to the principle of static bending. The specimen is clamped and fixed vertically so that its free end is bent. When the specimen is bent to a specified angle (e.g. 15 ° or 7.5 °), the resistance generated by it is measured. This resistance value is the bending stiffness in mN; or the resistance value is multiplied by the test length to obtain the bending stiffness value in mN.m.

Steps
Prepare a sample that meets the standard size (38 * 70mm).
2. Turn on the power supply (AC220V +/- 10% 50HZ) and start the instrument.
3. Hold the specimen vertically on the fixture of the instrument.
4. Set the desired bending angle (15 degrees or 7.5 degrees).
5. Start the test and bend the free end of the specimen at a speed of (200 +/- 20) °/min.
6. When the sample is bent to the set angle, the instrument automatically measures and records the resistance value.
7. Read and record the bending stiffness results (in mN or mN.m).
Notice
• Power supply voltage meets the requirements of AC220V +/- 10% 50HZ before use.
The sample size should be strictly controlled at 38 x 70mm to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
Before testing, please check whether the instrument is placed horizontally and whether the fixture is firm.
• Do not touch the bending specimen or moving parts during operation.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain instruments to ensure +/- 2% indication accuracy.
• The instrument should be placed on a drying and stable workbench for use.
