Overview
The SMART SENSOR AR866A thermistor is a precision instrument for the measurement of wind speed and air volume using the principle of heating wire. It keeps the temperature of the wire constant, and when the wind speed changes, the heat transfer of the wire changes to produce electrical signals, so as to accurately measure the flow field velocity. It has high frequency Response characteristics and is widely used in the field of turbulence and flow research.
Features
1. Measurement range 0~ 30m/s, resolution 0.1m/s
2. Measurement range 0~ 999900m ³/min
3. Variety of wind speed units available: m/s, Ft/min, Knots, km/h, Mph
4. With MIN Minimum measurement function
5. Support wind temperature measurement 0~ 45 ℃
6. Equipped with backlit display and low power prompt
7. With analog display function
8. Support USB data communication
9. Built-in 500 data storage capacity
Principle
Thermal wind speed air meter uses a heated wire placed in the flow field for measurement. The wire maintains a constant temperature through heating current. When the wind speed changes, the heat transfer of the wire changes accordingly, and the generated electrical signal change can be converted into the speed of the actual flow field.
Applications
Turbulence research, flow research
Steps
1. Turn on the power supply of the device
2. Select the desired wind speed unit
3. Placing the Probe in the Flow Field to be Measured
4. Read the wind speed and air volume data on the display screen
5. Data transfer can be performed via USB interface
6. Use Data storage to record measurement results
Notice
• Avoid use in environments beyond the Measurement range
• Pay attention to the low power prompt of the device and replace the battery in time
• Keep Probe Clean to Ensure Measurement accuracy
• Use a suitable USB data cable for communication
Periodically calibrate equipment to ensure measurement accuracy
