Overview
HP-GAC301 Differential Pressure Gas Permeability Tester is based on the principle of differential pressure method and is a gas permeability tester professionally used for thin film samples. The instrument is suitable for the determination of gas permeability, solubility coefficient, diffusion coefficient and permeability coefficient of Plastic film, composite film, high barrier material, sheet and metal foil at various temperatures.

Principle
HP-GAC301 adopts the test principle of differential pressure method. The pre-treated sample is placed between the upper and lower test chambers for clamping. First, the low-pressure chamber (lower chamber) is vacuumed, and then the whole system is vacuumed. When the specified vacuum degree is reached, the test lower chamber is closed and a certain pressure test gas is filled into the high voltage chamber (upper chamber) to ensure that a constant pressure difference (adjustable) is formed on both sides of the sample. Under the action of the pressure difference layer, the gas will penetrate from the high voltage side to the low pressure side, and through the monitoring and processing of the internal pressure on the low pressure side, the various barrier parameters of the test sample can be obtained.

Steps
1. Place the pre-treated specimen between the upper and lower test chambers and clamp it.
2. Vacuum the low-pressure chamber (lower chamber), and then evacuate the entire system.
3. When the required vacuum is reached, close the test chamber.
4. Fill the high voltage cavity (upper cavity) with a certain pressure of the test gas to ensure that a constant pressure difference is formed on both sides of the sample.
5. The system automatically monitors the change of internal pressure on the low pressure side and calculates various barrier parameters of the sample.
Notice
* To support the testing of toxic gases and flammable and explosive gases, modifications are required.
Test gases (e.g. O2, N2, CO2, etc.) need to be provided by the user.
* The humidity generating device needs to be purchased separately.
Please ensure that the air source pressure is within the range of 0.4 MPa to 0.6 MPa before use.
* Power supply voltage is AC 220V 50Hz.
