Overview
The CHENCHI WSB-2 paper whiteness meter is an instrument for the measurement of the whiteness of non-colored flat surfaces or powders. It can accurately obtain the whiteness value consistent with the visual sensitivity. For objects treated with fluorescent whitening agents, it can quantitatively reflect the whiteness value after fluorescence brightening, and can accurately measure the Opacity of paper.
Features
1. Adopt microcomputer control, equipped with touch keyboard, LCD backlit LCD display and standard RS232 data communication interface.
2. With data nonlinear processing, data smoothing, fast automatic multi-point correction, self-diagnostic information prompt function, Response is fast and stable, reliable operation and maintenance-free.
3. The color measurement performance is accurate, and the overall Light spectrum characteristics of the instrument conform to the CIE standard Observer Response Linear dispersion, which can accurately obtain ISO whiteness.
4. The modified color filter system can quantitatively reflect the whiteness value after fluorescent whitening, and the operation is simple, which can accurately measure paper Opacity.
5. High Stability and Reproducibility, Completely eliminate system drift error, with data storage query function to meet GLP requirements.
6. Using imported original components, effective low-loss switching power supply and simple optical circuit design, Reliability is good.
Principle
The instrument uses a D65 light source to simulate the visual Response of the human eye through a modified color filter system under the illumination conditions of 0/d (vertical illumination/diffuse reflection reception), and measures the intensity of blue light (R457) reflected on the surface of the object to calculate the whiteness value. Its design conforms to the CIE standard observer Response Linear dispersion, ensuring that the measurement results are consistent with visual perception.
Applications
Spinning & weaving printing and dyeing, paints Coatings, chemical building materials, paper Cardboard, plastic products, white cement, Pottery and porcelain, enamel, talc powder, starch, flour, salt, detergent, cosmetics and other substances whiteness measurement
Standards
ISO whiteness standard, CIE standard
Steps
1. Turn on the AC 220V/50Hz power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. Use a standard whiteboard to calibrate.
3. Place the sample to be tested flat under the measurement hole (φ 18mm).
4. Start the measurement by touching the keyboard.
5. Read the whiteness value displayed on the LCD display.
6. Can be connected to a computer or printer through RS232 interface for data output.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for non-colored, flat surface objects or powder measurement.
• Make sure the instrument is calibrated before measurement.
• Keep measurement aperture and standard whiteboard clean.
• The instrument should be placed in a stable, direct light-free environment.
When connecting external devices, ensure that the interfaces match and follow the operating procedures.
