Overview
The SLY-S1 Electronic Film Tear Tester is a professional testing instrument under the CHENCHI brand. It is suitable for the tear resistance detection of films, sheets, waterproofing rolls, woven materials, paper, Cardboard, Spinning & weaving products, non-woven fabrics and other materials. The instrument has been redesigned with a modern Appearance and a series of new features, which excels in value, accuracy, safety and flexibility.

Principle
The instrument makes the pendulum have a certain potential energy by raising it to a certain height. When the pendulum is free to pendulum, it uses its own stored energy to tear the sample. The computer control system calculates the energy consumed when tearing the sample, so as to obtain the force required to tear the sample.

Basic applications: Plastic film, sheet (such as polyolefin, polyester, aluminum-plastic composite film, etc.), paper, Cardboard, Spinning & weaving materials. Extended applications: Encasement bags, rubber latex gloves, stretch wrap film, paper subway tickets.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate pendulum capacity according to the testing requirements.
2. Place the sample in a pneumatic clamping device and fix it.
3. Use the automatic incision function to incide the sample.
4. Raise the pendulum to the specified height.
5. Release the pendulum to free the pendulum to tear the specimen.
6. The micro-control system automatically calculates and displays the test results.
7. View data, print reports or upload data through the operation interface.
Notice
• Measurement range is 0~ 16N, 32N, 64N (corresponding to 16000gf, 32000gf, 64000gf), please choose the appropriate range according to the sample strength.
• Ensure that the air source pressure is within the range of 0.6 to 0.8MPa to ensure the normal operation of pneumatic clamping.
• The power requirements of the instrument are 220V 50Hz and the power is 100W. Please ensure that the power supply meets the requirements.
• Before operation, please confirm that the cut length of the sample is 20 +/- 0.1mm, and the distance between the paper jacks is 2.8 +/- 0.3mm to meet the standard test conditions.
• Instrument weight is 55kg, Dimension is 480 * 420 * 470mm, please make sure to place firmly.
