Overview
The CHENCHI ZLS-200 paper Cardboard filtrating velocity tester is suitable for the determination of water filtration velocity of filtrated paper and filtrated Cardboard with certain wet strength. The instrument measures the time required for 100ml or 200ml of water to flow through a 35.7mm diameter (10cm ² area) paper sample under the condition of a pressure difference of 1Kpa (100mm water column) on both sides of the paper sample. The result is expressed in seconds.

Principle
The working principle of the instrument is to establish a constant pressure difference of 1Kpa on both sides of the paper pattern. During the test, the water in the container enters the pressure ring through the solenoid valve under the action of the pressure difference, passes through the clamped paper pattern, flows into the pressure ring and enters the measurement cylinder. When the water surface in the measurement cylinder rises to zero, the electric measurement system starts timing; when the water volume passing through reaches the set value (100ml or 200ml), the timing is stopped to measure the filtrate speed.

Steps
Prepare water quality that meets the requirements (tap water or 0.02% NaCl solution with a conductivity of (3.2-4) X 10 ms/m at 20 ° C, and be filtered and degassed at 0.8 µm).
2. Clamp the specimen between the upper and lower pressure rings.
3. Select the desired range (100ml or 200ml) through the front panel.
4. Start the instrument, the solenoid valve is powered on, and the water begins to flow into the measurement cylinder through the paper sample.
5. When the water surface of the measurement cylinder rises to zero, the system automatically starts timing.
6. When the amount of water passing through reaches the set value, the system automatically stops counting and records the displayed time.
7. After the test is completed, open the water valve of the measurement cylinder, and after the water surface drops to zero, the display returns to zero, ready for the next test.
Notice
• This instrument cannot be used to determine the filtration rate of filtrated paper and filtrated Cardboard processed by Resin, or whose surface is not hydrophilic or not completely hydrophilic.
• Test water must be prepared and treated in strict accordance with standard requirements, including conductivity, filtrate and degassing.
• The instrument should work in an environment with indoor temperature of 20 +/- 10 ° C, relative humidity < 85%, clean and dusty, no strong magnetic field and strong vibration source.
• When clamping the sample, pay attention to rotating the column to move the upper pressure ring out of the center position for easy operation.
• When changing the sample, pay attention that the remaining water in the lower pressure ring water box will flow out of the leaking pipe.
• After the test, the water in the measurement cylinder should be emptied in time.
