Overview
CHENCHI MXD-01 Coefficient of Friction tester is based on GB 10006 national standard, specializing in the measurement of Plastic film and sheet, rubber, paper, Cardboard, woven bag, fabric style, communication cable and cable with metal composite belt, conveyor belt, wood, coatings, brake pads, wipers, shoe materials, tires and other materials when sliding Coefficient of Friction and dynamic Coefficient of Friction. By measuring the slippery properties of materials, you can control and adjust the mass production process indicators of materials to meet the requirements of product use. In addition, the instrument can also be used for the measurement of slippery performance of cosmetics, eye drops and other daily chemical products.

1. The equipment is controlled by a microcomputer, the test process is automated, and it is equipped with a menu-type operation interface, PVC control panel, and LCD screen, which is convenient for users to perform test operations and view data.

Principle
The instrument uses the High Accuracy Force Sensor to measure the friction generated when the specimen slides under specific conditions (e.g. fixed slider mass, traverse speed). The system drives the slider to move uniformly on the specimen surface and records the force value change during the sliding process to calculate the static Coefficient of Friction (the ratio of the maximum friction force to the positive pressure during startup) and the dynamic Coefficient of Friction (the ratio of the average friction force to the positive pressure during sliding) of the material.

Steps
1. Turn on the power supply (AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz) and turn on the instrument.
2. Enter the menu operation interface through the LCD screen and PVC control panel, and set the test parameters (such as slider mass, traverse speed, etc.).
3. Fix the specimen evenly on the test table.
4. Place the test slider at the starting position of the specimen as required.
5. Start the test, the instrument will automatically drive the slider to move and measure friction.
6. After the test is completed, the LCD screen will display the results of Static Coefficient of Friction and Dynamic Coefficient of Friction and the test Linear dispersion.
7. The MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average, etc. of the group data can be viewed through the embedded statistical analysis function.
8. Using the equipped microprinter, choose to print test reports for single or group samples.
Notice
• Instruments should be used in a standard test environment.
• Power supply voltage AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz and properly grounded.
• Before testing, make sure the sample is flat, clean, and free of wrinkles or foreign matter.
• Regularly use the instrument's own force value calibrating mode to calibrate to ensure test accuracy.
• The instrument test table and slider have been degaussed, please do not use strong magnetic objects to approach, so as not to affect the test accuracy.
• The instrument is powered by three power sources, and non-professionals should not disassemble or change the internal circuit without authorization.
When moving or cleaning the instrument, please handle it with care to avoid violent vibration.
• Do not place heavy or unrelated items on the instrument.
