Principle
The color difference meter DR-10 uses an 8 °/d illumination mode with an LED light source. After the ray of light is irradiated to the sample, the reflected light is received by the silicon photodiode Sensor. The instrument converts the received light signal into Color data through the built-in Optical inspection system and ETC real-time calibrating technology, and calculates and compares according to the Delta E * ab Color difference formula in the CIE LAB Color space. Finally, the chromatic value, color difference value, Color bias and pass/fail results are displayed on the display screen.

Steps
1. Boot preparation.
2. Use the cross positioning platform to align the measurement caliber with the part to be measured.
3. Trigger measurement, read the measurement results (chromatic value, color difference value, Color bias or pass/fail judgment) on the display screen after about 1.5 seconds.
4, can store or view measurement data.
5. After the measurement is completed, it can be connected to the USB interface for charging.
Notice
* The measurement diameter is φ 8mm, please ensure that the measured area can be completely covered.
* The operating environment temperature of the instrument is 0~ 40 ℃, and the storage environment temperature is -20~ 50 ℃.
* Please avoid using and storing the instrument in extreme temperature or humidity environments.
Periodically calibrated by ETC technology, but the instrument has a built-in calibrating system that usually requires no manual user intervention.
Interface (USB) is for power supply only, not for data transmission.
* Instrument illumination light source life is about 5 years (greater than 1.60 million measurements).
Optional accessories such as micro printers and powder test boxes are available to expand the application.
