Overview
The YN-SLY16N microcomputer Tear tester is a professional instrument for testing the force required to tear pre-cut paper. It uses the Optical inspection encoder to Measurement Angles position and converts it into tear units. It is suitable for all kinds of paper, lower strength Cardboard and Spinning & weaving products, leather, film and other sheet composites Tear strength detection, widely used in paper mills, scientific research institutions and Quality control departments.
Features
1. Optical inspection encoder, accurate measurement of pendulum tear angle position.
2. Equipped with a 3.2-inch LCD display module, integrated thermal printing function.
3. Dual gear design (A file: 50~ 8000mN, B file: 8000~ 16000mN), widening Measurement range.
4. Suitable for a variety of materials, including paper, Cardboard, Spinning & weaving products, leather and film and other sheet composites.
Principle
The instrument stores potential energy by lifting the pendulum to a specified height. When the pendulum is free to pendulum, it uses its own stored energy to tear a stack of specimens (usually 4 layers) with a specified pre-cut by a fixed distance. Finally, the work done by tearing the specimen is calculated by measuring the potential energy lost by the pendulum during tearing.
Applications
Paper mills, research institutes, Quality control departments
Standards
GB/T 455、QB/T 1050、ISO 1974、JIS P8116、TAPPI T414
Steps
Prepare specimens of the specified size (63 +/- 0.5) mm * (50 +/- 2) mm).
2. Stack the specimens (usually 4 layers) and make a pre-cut of the specified length.
3. Raise the pendulum to a specified initial angle (27.5 +/- 0.5 °) to give it potential energy.
4. Hold the specimen correctly in the paper holder.
5. Release the pendulum to free the hem to tear the specimen.
6. The instrument automatically measures and displays the force or work required to tear the sample.
Notice
Make sure that the sample size and pre-cut length meet the standard requirements.
Clamp the specimen correctly to ensure that the clamping surface size and torque ratio meet the requirements.
* Check whether the number of free pendulums of the pendulum meets the requirements before operation (min ≥ 20, mid ≥ 25, stand ≥ 35).
* Note that the tear offset should be less than 10mm of the edge extension cable.
* Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy.
