Overview
YN-TQD03 battery diaphragm Air Permeability tester is a multi-functional instrument that integrates Gurley method, Schopper method and Bentesen method in one machine. It is suitable for air permeability measurement of battery diaphragm, film, paper and other materials.
Features
1. The Gurley method, Schopper method, and Bentesen method are integrated into one machine for users to choose freely.
2. The pressure difference of the instrument is adjustable in the range of 0-3KPa, and the accuracy is up to 0.01kPa.
3. The instrument has a large test volume of 1L, which fully meets the volume requirements of the three methods.
4. The test area of 10.0cm ² and 6.42cm ² can be freely converted by adding a mask.
5. The instrument comes with a Humidity Sensor to monitor the Humidity of the test chamber in real time.
6. The instrument has good sealing performance and the air leakage does not exceed 1.0ml/h.
7. The instrument comes with its own display screen and host computer software, which can be operated offline and tested synchronously with a computer.
Principle
The instrument measures air permeability based on three different constant pressure differential methods: the Schopper method measures the gas Flow rate by test volume at constant pressure differential; the Gurley method measures the time required to pass through a fixed volume of gas at constant pressure differential; and the Bentsen method records the gas Flow rate through the test surface at constant pressure differential.

Steps
Sample pretreatment: under atmospheric conditions of < 40 ℃, 10-35% RH, let stand for 24h, and the difference between weighing at intervals of 1h is not greater than 0.25% of the total mass to achieve sample equilibrate.
2. Cut the sample of the corresponding size according to the test method (Gurley method, Schopper method, or Bentsen method).
3. Select the test method and set the corresponding constant differential pressure parameters.
4. Install the sample into the instrument test chamber.
5. Start the test, and the instrument automatically records data such as gas Flow rate or time.
6. After the test is completed, read or export the test results.
Notice
• Before testing, ensure that the sample reaches the specified temperature and humidity equilibrating state.
• According to the selected test method, accurately cut the samples of the corresponding size.
• When installing the sample, ensure that the sealing is good to avoid air leakage affecting the test results.
During the test, the pressure difference of the instrument should be stable within the range specified by the standard.
• Regularly check the sealing of the instrument to ensure that the air leakage does not exceed the specified value.
• Note that the power requirements of the instrument are 220V, 50Hz.
