Overview
YINUO YN-CBD125 Cobb Water Absorbency Sampler is used to test the Water Absorbency of paper and Cardboard surface, that is, its water resistance performance. This instrument is mainly used to determine whether the sizing effect of paper meets the required standards.
Features
1. The blade adopts a special treatment mold blade, which is cut by ten thousand wire high-precision wire, triple high temperature quenching and triple fine grinding process, and can be used for a long time without human damage.
2. Adopt three-point positioning method and High Accuracy coaxial concentric process to control the biting knife to ensure sampling accuracy.
3. The coaxial concentric structure adopts three-point guide rail positioning and pure copper wear-resistant copper sleeve.
4. The cup body is made of 304 #stainless steel, and the lid is made of mg aluminum and fully enclosed anode hardening treatment, which is resistant to strong acid and alkali.
5. The sealing ring is made of pure silicone material, and the lid knob cover and cup body swirl/spin card position are made of pure copper, with high strength and Abrasion Resistance.
6. The mass and length of the pressing roller meet the standards, and can be customized according to foreign standards or special paper requirements.
Principle
The instrument cuts a circular sample on the paper sample by a standard size Sampler and places it in a test cup. Applying a specified height of water column on the surface of the sample and maintaining it for a specific time, the surface Water Absorption and Sizing Degree of Paper and Cardboard are evaluated by measuring the amount of water absorbed by the sample within a specified time or observing its surface permeability.
Applications
Paper sizing degree test, Cardboard water resistance performance evaluation
Standards
GB/T1540、ISO 535、QB/T1668
Steps
1. Use Sampler to cut a circular specimen of φ 125 mm.
2. Place the sample on the test cup to ensure sealing.
3. Add 100ml +/- 5ml of standard water to the cup to make the liquid level 10mm.
4. Maintain the stipulated testing time.
5. After the test, use a standard pressure roller to remove the residual moisture from the surface of the sample.
6. Weigh or calculate the water absorption of the sample and evaluate its Water Absorbency.
Notice
• When sampling, ensure that the blade is in good condition to avoid man-made damage to prolong the service life.
• The test water consumption and liquid level should be strictly controlled to ensure the accuracy of the results.
• The absorbent paper used must meet the standards of Basis Weight 200~ 250g/m ² and capillary water absorption height greater than 75mm/10min.
• When operating the roller, pay attention to its standard weight and length.
• Instrument components (such as cup lids, sealing rings) are made of materials with specific durability, do not use incompatible chemical Reagents for cleaning or contact.
• Components such as pressure rollers can be customized according to special test requirements.
