Overview
The YN-MC01 Coefficient of Friction tester is used to measure the ratio of friction force between two surfaces and the vertical force acting on one surface, and characterizes the friction performance of materials through dynamic and static Coefficient of Friction. The instrument is suitable for Static COF and Kinetic COF measurement when paper, Plastic film, rubber, Cardboard, woven bag, fabric, metal composite belt, conveyor belt, wood, coating, brake pad, shoe material, tire and other materials slide.
Features
1. Simultaneous measurement of Static COF and Kinetic COF
2. The instrument test table and test slider have been degaussed and remanence detected, effectively reducing the system test error
3. The equipment adopts microcomputer control, with menu Operating interface, PVC control panel and LCD screen, which is convenient for test operation and data viewing
4. System accessories use world-renowned imported components, stable and reliable performance
5. Professional software can automatically perform slip-and-stick state judgment and statistical analysis of group tests
6. Equipped with a micro-printer to automatically print test reports for single or group samples
7. Standard RS232 interface, convenient for system and computer connection and data transmission
Principle
The Coefficient of Friction meter calculates Static COF and Kinetic COF by measuring the friction of sliding materials based on the principle of the ratio of the friction between two surfaces and the vertical force acting on one surface. The instrument uses a microcomputer Control system, combined with precision force measurement elements, to automatically perform tests and analyze data.
Applications
Film, Sheet, paper, Cardboard, Metal, Wafer, Cardboard, Spinning & weaving, Nonwovens, Solid Electrical Insulation, Adhesive Tape, Geosynthetics, Rubber
Standards
GB/T 17200、GB/T 22895、ISO 8295、ASTM D1894、TAPPI T816、GB/T 2792
Steps
1. Prepare the sample to ensure that the size meets the requirements (upper sample 63 * 63mm, lower sample 80 * 200mm, thickness ≤ 2mm)
2. Install the specimen on the test table and slider
3. Operating interface settings such as slider mass, Travel and traverse speed
4. Start the test, the system automatically measures the Coefficient of Friction
5. View the test data on the LCD screen
6. Use a microprinter to print the test report
7. Optional to connect to the computer through RS232 interface for data transmission
Notice
• Ensure that the sample size and thickness are within the allowable range (the maximum of the upper sample is 63 * 63mm, the maximum of the lower sample is 80 * 200mm, and the thickness is ≤ 2mm)
• Check the instrument table and slider degaussing status before testing to reduce errors
• Select the appropriate slider mass (standard 200 +/- 2g, optional 100/500/1000g) and traverse speed according to the standard requirements
• Avoid use in strong magnetic fields or vibrating environments to avoid affecting Test accuracy
• Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy +/- 0.001N
• Follow the microcomputer system prompts during operation to prevent misoperation
