Overview
JINGWEN JW123 paper Air Permeability tester is a Schopper method paper Air Permeability tester designed and manufactured according to the standard QB/T1667 "paper Air Permeability (Schopper method) tester". The instrument is used to measure the Air Permeability of various papers such as cement bags, paper bags, cable paper, copy paper and industrial filter paper. It is suitable for papers with Air Permeability between 1 × 10 ² and 1 × 10 ² μm/(Pa · s), but not for papers with large surface roughness.
Features
1. Design and manufacture according to QB/T1667 standard to ensure measurement accuracy
2. Suitable for a variety of paper types, such as cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, etc
3. Measurement range, covering 0~ 1000ml/min
4. The test area is accurate to 10 +/- 0.02cm ²
5. The pressure differential in the test area is stable at 1 +/- 0.01kPa
6. Measurement accuracy is high, less than 100ml +/- 1ml, greater than 100ml +/- 5ml
7. The inner diameter of the clamp ring is precisely controlled to be 35.68 +/- 0.05mm
Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of the Schopper method, and calculates the paper Air Permeability by adjusting the pressure difference in the test area to a constant value (such as 1 kPa), the air Flow rate of the paper or the volume of collected water in the measurement unit time. Air Permeability is proportional to the constant pressure difference and the measurement time, allowing Miscellaneous pressure difference and time to be selected for testing when necessary.
Applications
Cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, copy paper, industrial filter paper
Steps
1. Close the overflow valve and regulating valve, and open the water filling valve and ventilation valve
2. Inject distillation water from the water filling valve with funnel until the container is full
3. Close the water valve and ventilation valve
4. Clamp the specimen between the pattern clamping ring and the air box
5. Place a measuringflask under the overflow port, open the overflow valve, turn the regulating valve door to adjust the pressure difference in the test area to 1kPa, and adjust the height of the overflow pipe if necessary
6. After stabilization, start the stopwatch measurement of the volume of water in the measuringflask for 1 minute or the time required for 100ml of water
7. According to the test requirements, Miscellaneous pressure difference and time can be selected, but it needs to be indicated in the report
Notice
• Operators should read the instructions and strictly abide by the procedures, and non-professionals should not operate
• The instrument should be placed on a bench with room temperature of 20 +/- 10 ° C, clean air, stable and no vibration
• Always keep the instrument clean, and use distillation water in the pressure gauge and container to avoid impurity deposition
• Vacuum grease is changed regularly for each valve to ensure sealing and flexible rotation
• Choose the appropriate test duration according to the gas Flow rate before the test to ensure that the reading error does not exceed 2.5%
• Adjust the instrument level during installation, and use a thin film to check the pressure difference Stability. The pressure difference reduction tolerance should be < 0.01kPa within half an hour
