Overview
JINGWEN JW-120C Coefficient of Friction Tester is suitable for measurement Plastic films and sheets, rubber, paper, Cardboard, woven bags, fabric styles, metal composite belts for communication cables and optical cables, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, brake pads, wipers, shoe materials, tires and other materials When sliding, the static and dynamic Coefficient of Friction. By measuring the slippery properties of materials, the mass production process indicators of materials can be controlled and adjusted to meet the requirements of product use. In addition, it can also be used for the determination of slippery performance of daily chemical products such as cosmetics and eye drops.

10. Linear dispersion, text, and clearer vision are displayed on the high definition large screen.
Principle
The instrument uses a precision motor to drive the slider to move at a set speed on the surface of the material to be tested, and uses a High Accuracy Force Sensor to measure the friction force during the movement of the slider in real time. The microcomputer system automatically calculates and displays the static Coefficient of Friction and Dynamic Coefficient of Friction of the material according to the measured force value to evaluate the slippery performance of the material.
Applications
Plastic films and sheets, rubber, paper, Cardboard, woven bags, fabric style, communication cables and optical cables with metal composite belts, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, brake pads, wipers, shoe materials, tires, cosmetics, eye drops and other daily chemical products
Standards
GB 10006、ASTM D1894、ISO 8295、TAPPI T816
Steps
1. According to the testing standards or requirements, choose the national standard, American standard or free mode.
2. Install the appropriate slider (standard mass is 200g) and adjust the slider travel (70mm or 150mm).
3. Place the sample to be tested flat on the test bench.
4. Set the slider traverse speed (recommended test speed is (100 +/- 10) mm/min).
5. Start the test, the instrument automatically drives the slider to move and real-time measurement of friction.
6. After the test is completed, the instrument automatically calculates and displays the Static and Dynamic Coefficiencies of Friction.
7. Test data and statistical results can be output through the built-in printer.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is placed on a stable working table before use.
• Test environment temperature should be maintained at 15~ 30 ℃, humidity 20%~ 80%.
Depending on the material being tested, non-standard mass sliders may need to be customized.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument using the built-in calibrate program, or calibrate by a third-party measurement department to ensure measurement accuracy.
• When replacing the printing roll, please follow the instructions to ensure that the printer is working properly.
