Overview
PUYUN PY-H606A Paper Thickness Tester is a professional measuring instrument for measuring the thickness of a variety of materials such as paper, Cardboard, Nonwovens, Films and Spinning & weaving products. The instrument is suitable for Encasement paper, Spreader printing paper, Nonwovens, Corrugated Board, Films, Mica sheets and sheet composites according to different models, providing accurate thickness measurement solutions.

Principle
The thickness tester applies uniform force to the sample through standard contact area and pressure, and uses the High Accuracy Sensor to measure material thickness. The concentricity, vertical and lateral parallel positioning system ensures that the measurement head remains stable during testing, reducing errors and providing reliable thickness data.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample to ensure that the surface is flat and free of wrinkles.
2. Turn on the power supply of the instrument and preheat it to a stable state;
3. Place the sample on the measurement platform;
4. Adjust the measurement head to make contact with the sample;
5. Apply standard pressure and wait for the reading to stabilize.
6. Measured value of thickness;
7. Sexual repeability measurement to obtain an average value;
8. Turn off the power and clean the instrument.
Notice
• Check whether the instrument is calibrated before use;
• Ensure Ambient Temperature at (20 +/- 10) ℃ and Humidity < 85%;
• Avoid operating in a vibration or strong electromagnetic interference environment;
Samples should be flat and free of impurities or damage.
• Regularly clean the measurement surface to prevent pollution from affecting the accuracy;
• Handle with care during operation to avoid hitting the instrument;
• When not in use for a long time, it should be stored in a drying place.
