Overview
The YMG60 60 ° High Accuracy Miniature Glossiness Meter is a portable instrument using vertical measurement mode, with a compact shape and easy portability. It can test the Glossiness of curved surface samples including concave and convex, and is mainly used in paints inks, Coatings, Plastic Electronics, Furniture, Pottery and Porcelain, Eletroplating, Hardware and other industries for gloss measurement and mass inspection.
Features
1. Smaller contact area is convenient for measurement of convex curved surfaces and small-area objects.
2, can be measured traditional glossmeter impossible measurement of certain concave objects, such as the inside of the pipe.
3, the control method is more conducive to the control of the measurement position, using ergonomic design.
4, the display has a 10 ° tilt angle, easy to view the measurement results.
Principle
The Glossiness Meter is based on the 60 ° standard Measurement Angles and measures the ability of the sample surface to reflect light by emitting and receiving rays of light at specific angles, quantified in Gloss Units (GU). The instrument compares the measurement data with the built-in standard plate to calculate the Glossiness value of the sample.
Applications
Paints inks, Coatings, Plastic Electronics, Furniture, Pottery and porcelain, Eletroplating, Hardware
Standards
Meet JJG 696 secondary glossmeter requirements
Steps
1. Turn it on and check the battery level.
2, manually calibrate as needed or wait for the instrument to automatically check and calibrate.
3, the instrument measurement port is stably attached to the surface of the sample to be tested.
4. Press the measurement button for measurement and read the Glossiness value on the display.
5. You can choose basic mode, statistical mode, continuous mode or quality control mode for measurement and data recording.
6. After the measurement is completed, the data can be exported to the PC software for analysis through USB or Bluetooth connection.
Notice
* When measuring, ensure that the measurement port of the instrument is stable and tightly fitted to the surface of the sample.
* Avoid use in environments with strong magnetic fields, strong vibrations or drastic temperature changes.
Do not expose the instrument to water, dust or Miscellaneous corrosive substances.
* The calibration plate should be kept clean to avoid scratches, and its effectiveness should be checked regularly.
* Use the recommended battery type and remove the battery when not in use for a long time.
* Temperature range is 0~ 40 ℃, storage temperature is -20~ 50 ℃, relative humidity should be less than 85% and no condensation.
Do not disassemble or modify the instrument yourself.
