Overview
YONGLIDA QXD50-150 paints Grindometer belongs to QXD series single-channe Grindometer, which is used to detect the fineness of pigments and impurities in paints to ensure product mass. The product Measurement range is 50~ 150 μm, Graduation is 10 μm, made of Cr12 molybdenum vanadium steel, widely used in Paints, paint paste and other industries.
Features
1. Single-channe design, easy to operate.
2. Using Cr12 molybdenum vanadium steel, strong and durable.
3. Measurement range 50~ 150μm, Graduation 10μm, to meet specific accuracy requirements.
4. Comply with GB/T1724 standard to ensure Reliability.
Principle
By placing the sample to be tested in the scraper groove and scraping it at a uniform speed with a drawdown blade, the particles in the sample will produce traces in the scale area of the scraping groove. By observing the scale position where the traces appear, the maximum fineness value of the particles in the sample can be determined.
Applications
Paints, lacquer paste
Steps
1. Grindometer and drawdown blade to ensure no residue.
2. Drop the sample to be tested into the deeper end of the scraper groove.
3. Hold the drawdown blade perpendicular to the surface of the scraper and scrape the sample across the entire scraping groove at a uniform speed.
4. Immediately after scraping the sample (usually within 3 seconds), observe the scale value of the particles uniformly exposed in the scraping groove at a suitable angle.
5. The scale value is the fineness reading of the sample.
Notice
• Before use, make sure that the scraper and drawdown blade are clean, drying and abrasion-free.
• The scraping operation needs to be fast, uniform and done in one go.
• The reading should be completed quickly after scraping the sample to avoid sample flow or drying affecting the judgment.
• The instrument should be kept properly to avoid bumping to maintain the accuracy of the scraping groove and drawdown blade.
• Select the appropriate range model according to the expected fineness of the measured object.
