Principle
The instrument is designed based on the principle of refraction and quantitatively analyzes the component concentration by measuring the change of the refractive index of the sample solution to light. When a drop of the sample solution is placed on a prism, the instrument automatically detects the refractive index and converts it into the corresponding parameter values such as Brighton, Baume or water content.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power
2. Drop a drop of sample solution onto the surface of the prism
3. Wait 3 seconds to read the measurement results displayed on the LCD screen
4. Clean the prism and turn off the power after use
