Principle
The WZS 90A handheld sugar meter works based on the principle of refraction and determines the concentration of the liquid by measuring its refractive index. When the ray of light passes through the liquid to be measured, the instrument directly displays the corresponding concentration value on the scale according to the change of refraction angle.

Steps
1. Open the instrument cover
2. Drop a small amount of liquid to be tested on the surface of the prism
3. Close the cover to ensure even distribution of the liquid
4. Illuminant scale readings
5. Read the corresponding Brix concentration value
