MCX-03 Friction coefficient meter is a professional measurement equipment of HORIZON brand, suitable for Plastic film and sheet, rubber, paper, Cardboard, woven bag, fabric style, communication cable and cable metal composite belt, conveyor belt, wood, coating, brake pads, wipers, shoe materials, tires and other materials Static COF and Kinetic COF measurement. By evaluating the slippery properties of materials, it helps to control the production mass process indicators and meet the requirements of product use. At the same time, it can also be used for the measurement of slippery performance of cosmetics, eye drops and other daily chemical products.

Principle
The instrument drives the slider to move on the surface of the sample through the high-precision ball screw drive, measures the friction force when the slider slides, and uses the force measurement system to accurately calculate the Static COF and Kinetic COF to evaluate the slippery performance of the material.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it on the work surface
2. Set the slider mass (standard 200 +/- 2g or optional 500g) and traverse speed (100 +/- 10mm/min)
3. Start the instrument, the slider automatically moves and measures friction
4. Automatic Calculation and Display of Dynamic and Static COF
5. Use a microprinter to print test results and averages
Notice
• Power supply voltage is 220V 50HZ to avoid voltage instability affecting Test accuracy
• Environmental humidity should be kept within the range of 20% RH to 70% RH
• Check the slider size (63 * 63mm) and mass before testing
• Regularly calibrate the force measurement system to ensure that the total error is less than +/- 2%
• Pay attention to the travel range of the slider (0~ 70mm) during operation to avoid overrun
• Keep the instrument clean to prevent dust from affecting the ball screw transmission performance
