Overview
YINUO YN-COB125 Cobb Water Absorbency Sampler is a professional equipment for testing the Water Absorbency of paper and Cardboard surfaces. It is mainly used to determine whether the sizing effect of paper meets customer needs. The instrument evaluates the water resistance performance of materials through precise sampling and testing.
Features
1. With special treatment of mold blades, non-special high-strength materials or man-made damage can be replaced for 10 years without replacement
2. The blade processing technology adopts high-precision wire cutting, triple high temperature quenching and triple precision grinding
3. The sampling size error is controlled at +/- 0.2mm, with high accuracy
4. Three-point guide rail positioning structure using three-point positioning method and pure copper wear-resistant copper sleeve
5. The cup body is made of 304 #stainless steel, the lid is made of mg aluminum and has been fully enclosed anode hardened
6. The sealing ring is made of pure silicone material, and the cup lid knob cover and cup body swirl/spin card position are made of pure copper.
7. Roller weight and length meet the standard requirements, can be customized according to special needs
Principle
Water Absorbency of Paper and Cardboard is measured by sampling the sample in contact with water under standard conditions. Residual moisture is removed by pressure roller and water resistance performance is evaluated by precise control of test area, water consumption and liquid height.
Applications
Paper water resistance performance testing, Cardboard sizing effect evaluation
Standards
GB/T1540、ISO 535、QB/T1668
Steps
1. Use Sampler to cut the φ 125mm sample
2. Place the specimen in the test cup
3. Add 100ml +/- 5ml test water
4. Control the liquid height to 10mm
5. Use a pressure roller to remove residual moisture
6. Water Absorbency measurement and recording
Notice
• The sampling thickness range should be controlled within 0.1~ 1.5mm
• Basis Weight of absorbent paper should be within the range of 200~ 250g/m ²
• Capillary water absorption height should be greater than 75mm/10min
• Avoid man-made damage to the blade
• Clean and maintain the instrument in time after use
