Overview
The YINUO YN-GM glossmeter is a professional instrument for measuring the Glossiness of paper, inks and printing products. 75 ° Glossiness is suitable for Spreader paper and non-Spreader paper; 20 ° Glossiness is suitable for high Gloss surfaces such as cast coated paper, wax paper, Varnishing paper and high Gloss inks paints; 60 ° Glossiness is suitable for various papers, inks, post-printing products, coatings and paints.
Features
1. Adopting optical, mechanical, electrical integration and microcomputer measurement and control technology, it has the function of statistical processing of test data and can be printed out.
2. Multiple incidence reflection Measurement Angles (75 °, 20 °, 60 °/45 °).
3. Use Polished Black Glass as the Glossiness Standard with a refractive index of 1.567 and a Glossiness of 100 units.
4. Using range expansion technology, any surface Glossiness can be measured.
5. With power-off memory function, automatic printing test report, computer memory zero adjustment, sample number, statistical calculation, digital display and print Measured value, average value and statistical value.
Principle
Detector is used to measure the incidence of light at a certain angle (20 °, 60 °, 75 °) to the surface of the sample, and the reflection of light within the specified aperture from the surface of the sample and the normal at a corresponding angle.
Applications
Spreader paper, non-Spreader paper, cast coated paper, waxed paper, Varnishing paper, High Gloss paints, Aluminum foil paper, vacuum aluminized paper, metal composite paper, paper, Spreader, paints
Standards
GB/T 8941、ISO2813、GB/T 9754
Steps
1. Prepare the sample with a size of 50 * 50mm.
Select Measurement Angles (20 °, 60 °, or 75 °).
3. Use internal calibration procedures and standard whiteboards to calibrate.
4. Measuring location of the specimen.
5. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically displays and records the data.
6. Output the test report through the thermal printer.
Notice
• Operating temperature should be maintained at (20 +/- 10 ° C) with Humidity below 85%.
• Ensure that the surface of the sample is clean to avoid affecting the Measurement accuracy.
• Regularly calibrate with a standard whiteboard to ensure instrument Precision.
• Avoid violent vibration during operation to prevent damage to the instrument.
• Measurement range 0~ 2038GU, Repeatability 0.5GU, Precision +/- 1GU.
