Overview
YN-SLX01 diaper leakage tester is used to detect the Water Absorbency of sanitary napkins and sanitary pads. Its technical requirements and detection methods meet the requirements and regulations of the international standard GB/T28004 "Diapers (tablets, pads) ". Penetration performance is a physical indicator reflecting the Water Absorbency of sanitary napkins and pads, and is suitable for sanitary napkins, sanitary pad manufacturers, scientific research institutions and mass supervision institutions.
Features
1. Two test modes: sanitary napkins (100), diapers (300)
2. Standard two-angle structure design, with three standard adjustable angles of 0 °, 10 °, and 30 °
3. Equipped with two standard sample placement platforms, both of which are 250 × 215mm in size.
4. The capacity of cylindrical drainage funnel is 250mL
5. Glass sealing knob design swirl/spin
Principle
The instrument evaluates the Water Absorbency of the product by measuring three key indicators: Leakage refers to the test solution mass that passes through the bottom leakage film under a certain pressure after the sample absorbs a certain amount of test solution; Reflux refers to the mass of the test solution that returns to the surface layer under a certain pressure after absorbing a certain amount of water; Slip refers to the volume that is not absorbed when a certain amount of test solution flows through the surface of the sample.
Applications
Sanitary napkins, sanitary pad manufacturers, scientific research institutions, mass supervision institutions
Standards
GB/T 8939、GB/T28004、GB/T2493
Steps
Select the test mode (sanitary napkin 100 or diaper 300)
2. Adjust the test angle to the desired angle (0 °, 10 °, or 30 °)
3. Place the specimen on the corresponding test platform
4. Prepare the test solution with measuringflask and pipette
5. Add the test solution by draining the funnel
6. Operate swirl/spin Glass sealing knob to control liquid flow
7. measurement and recording of leakage, reflux and slip data
Notice
• Please read the Operation Manual carefully before use
• Ensure the test platform is clean and drying
• Choose the correct test mode and angle
Accurate measurement of liquids using standard measuringflasks and pipettes
• Use the swirl/spin knob gently and evenly
• Regularly check the integrity of all components of the instrument
• Clean the instrument in time after the test is completed
