Overview
ZY-461Z breathability performance tester is an instrument controlled by microcomputer technology and tested by High Accuracy Low Differential Pressure Sensor. It is used to test the breathability of various fabrics, industrial fabrics, nonwovens, industrial filter paper and Miscellaneous vapor transmission rate materials. It has the advantages of simple operation and accurate measurement. It can be tested directly on the sample without cutting the sample.

Principle
The test is to measure the air permeability performance of the sample by measuring the pressure difference change at both ends of the orifice plate. The instrument uses High Accuracy Low Pressure Difference Sensor for dynamic measurement, and automatically adjusts the suction volume through microcomputer control. The orifice plate conversion is self-adaptive and automatic switching to ensure the stability of the air volume Flow rate.

Steps
1. According to the vapor transmission rate of the tested fabric, select the orifice plate with the appropriate aperture.
2. Place the specimen on the specimen holder without cutting, and the instrument can automatically compress the specimen.
3. Set the test parameters through digital setting, and switch units as needed.
4. Start the test, the instrument automatically adjusts the suction volume dynamically, and adaptively switches the orifice plate until the air volume Flow rate is stable.
5. After the test is completed, the large-screen LCD Chinese display will display the test results.
Notice
The thickness of the fabric to be tested should be less than or equal to 12mm.
* The instrument standard configuration of the sample clip through hole test area is 20c ², and there are five areas of 5cm ², 25cm ², 38cm ², 50cm ², 100cm ² optional.
* The instrument is equipped with a set of orifice plates with different aperture sizes. Before testing, the appropriate orifice plate should be selected according to the vapor transmission rate of the fabric.
During the test, the instrument will automatically complete the orifice plate conversion and air volume adjustment without manual intervention.
