Overview
The ZY-TG-1 Transparent Haze Meter is a manual zero calibration instrument in China. It is suitable for light transmitance and haze testing of transparent and translucent parallel plane samples (such as plastic sheets and sheets), as well as turbidity or clarity determination of liquid samples (such as water and beverages). The instrument is designed to meet multiple standards and is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Features
1. Measurement range: light transmitance Measurement range 0-100.0%, haze Measurement range 0-30.0%.
2. Measuring accuracy: light transmitance Precision ≤ 1%; Haze Precision ≤ +/- 0.1% when ≤ 0.5%, > 0.5% ≤ +/- 0.3%.
3. Wide range of applicability: suitable for solid parallel plane samples and liquid samples.
4. Easy to operate: manual zero calibration design.
Principle
The measurement is based on the principle of scattering and transmission of light through the sample. The light transmitance and haze values of the sample are calculated by comparing the luminous flux of incident ray and transmitted light, and the luminous flux of scattered light and total transmitted light, respectively.
Applications
Testing of transparent and translucent materials such as plastic sheets and sheets, determination of turbidity or clarity of liquids such as water and beverages
Standards
GB2410-80、ASTMD1033-61(1977)、JISK7105
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument and warm up.
2. Perform manual zero correction operation.
3. Perform manual calibration operation.
4. Place the sample to be tested (solid plate or liquid sample).
5. Start measurement, read and record light transmitance and haze data.
Notice
• This instrument is a manual zero calibration model, and the calibration steps need to be accurate during operation.
• Before measurement, make sure that the surface of the sample is clean and flat, and meets the requirements of parallel planes.
• Sample chamber required for liquid sample testing and ensure no bubbles.
• The instrument should be used in a stable, non-bright environment.
• Regular maintenance to ensure measurement accuracy.
