Overview
The JINGTIAN NDJ-5S RTD digital Rotational Viscometer is a measuring instrument with a range of 20 to 100,000 mPa · s. Its LCD display displays real-time key information such as viscosity, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum measurable viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed.
Features
1. Digital display LCD screen, comprehensive information display.
2. Wide range, covering 20 to 100,000 mPa · s.
3. Equipped with four-speed adjustable speed (6/12/30/60rpm).
4. Measurement accuracy is high, +/- 1% F.S.
5. Good reproducibility, up to +/- 0.5% F.S.
6. Equipped with RTD temperature sensor to monitor sample temperature.
7. Provide a dedicated power adapter with a wide input voltage range (100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
Principle
The Viscometer works based on the swirl/spin Measurement principle. The instrument drives the selected number of rotors to swirl/spin at a set constant speed in the sample. Tack resistance to the rotors causes torque generation. The instrument measures the torque value, combines the rotor specifications and speed parameters, and after internal calculation, the sample viscosity value is displayed directly on the digital display screen.
Applications
Petrochemicals, Food processing, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Coating inks, Research and education

Steps
1. Install and connect the dedicated power adapter.
2. Select the appropriate rotor according to the estimated viscosity value and install it on the instrument.
3. Immerse the rotor into the sample to be tested to the specified marking line.
4. Select the desired measurement speed through the instrument panel.
5. Start the instrument for measurement, and record the viscosity value displayed on the LCD screen after the reading is stable.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the instrument and clean the rotor.
Notice
Please ensure that the power adapter is connected correctly and reliably before use.
* When selecting a rotor, ensure that the estimated sample viscosity is within the range of the selected rotor and speed.
When immersing the sample, the rotor must not touch the container wall and bottom.
* The instrument and sample should be kept in a stable state during the measurement process to avoid vibration.
* After the measurement is completed, the rotor should be thoroughly cleaned in time to prevent the sample residue from affecting the subsequent Measurement accuracy.
* Do not use in environments beyond the specified power input range.
* The instrument should be stored in a drying and clean environment.
