Principle
The instrument is designed based on the principle of Pulp suspension water filtration. The 0.2% concentration of 1000ml Pulp suspension is poured into the filling chamber, the fibers form a filter layer on the copper mesh, and the water flows into the measuringflask through the bottom hole and the inclined pipe. The higher the Freeness/Schopper-Riegler, the lower the drainage speed, and the more water flows into the straight pipe. The calculation formula of Freeness/Schopper-Riegler is (1000-The amount of water flowing out of the inclined pipe)/10. The special measuringflask can directly display the Freeness/Schopper-Riegler value.
Steps
1. sampling and preparation: take 2g dry slurry sample, softening with 20 +/- 0.5 ℃ distillation water and dilute to 1000ml
2. Check the placement of the instrument and the condition of the copper mesh, and wet the copper mesh
3. Place the injection chamber over the separation chamber
4. Turn the handle so that the sealing cone enters the filling chamber until the wedge buckles
5. measurement of sample temperature and recording
6. Stir well and quickly pour into the filling room
7. Press the retaining handle to lift the sealing cone
8. Read the special measuringflask Freeness/Schopper-Riegler value after the inclined tube stops flowing
9. Remove Infill Chamber Clear Stock
10. Empty measuringflask and rinse parts

• The test water must be distillation water at 20 +/- 0.5 ° C
• Check the copper mesh for rust, damage or unevenness and replace it immediately
• Soak copper mesh before sampling
• Stir effectively before pouring the sample to distribute the fibers evenly
• Special measuringflask should be placed on a horizontal surface when reading
• Read the scale indicated by the tangent horizontal line of the liquid level, accurate to 1 degree
• When clearing Stock, it can be flushed with copper mesh or immersed in a bucket to shake
• Rinse the sealing cone and separation chamber in time after the test
