Overview
ZQX-1000 paper Air Permeability tester is a special equipment designed and manufactured by CCYONGXIN according to the industry standard QB/T1667 "paper Air Permeability (Schopper method) tester" of the People's Republic of China. The instrument is used to measure the air permeability of various papers. It is suitable for papers with Air Permeability between 1 × 10 ² and 1 × 10 ² µm/(Pa · S), such as cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, copy paper and industrial filter paper, but not suitable for paper with large surface roughness.
Features
1. Designed and manufactured according to the national standard QB/T1667 to ensure test accuracy
2. Measurement range, covering 0~ 1000ml/min
3. The test area is accurate to 10 +/- 0.02cm ²
4. The pressure differential in the test area is stable at 1 +/- 0.01kPa
5. Measurement accuracy : +/- 1ml (< 100ml) and +/- 5ml (> 100ml)
6. The inner diameter of the clamp ring is precisely controlled to 35.68 +/- 0.05mm
7. The coaxiality of the center hole of the upper and lower clamp rings is less than 0.05mm.
Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of the Schopper method. Measurement unit time and unit pressure under specified conditions, the average air flow rate per unit area of paper. The instrument measures the flow rate of air through the paper sample at constant pressure through components such as containers, paper type clamps, and pressure gauges to calculate the Air Permeability of the paper.

Steps
1. Close the overflow valve and regulating valve, and open the water filling valve and ventilation valve
2. Fill the container with distillation water from the water filling valve with funnel
3. Close the water valve and ventilation valve
4. Clamp the specimen between the pattern clamping ring and the air box
5. Place a measuringflask under the spill
6. Open the overflow valve and turn the regulating valve to adjust the pressure difference in the test area to 1kPa.
7. If the pressure difference is not up to standard, the locking bolt can be loosened to lift the overflow pipe for adjustment
8. After stabilization, start the stopwatch to extract the amount of water in the measuringflask for 1 minute, or the time required for 100mL of water in the measuringflask
9. Miscellaneous pressure differential and time can be selected as needed, but it needs to be indicated in the report
Notice
• The instrument is not suitable for paper with large surface roughness
• Refer to Table 1 to select the appropriate test duration before testing
When selecting different test durations, the reading error should not exceed 2.5%.
• Before use, adjust the bolts to ensure the level of the instrument
The pressure difference should be kept stable during the test
• If necessary, choose Miscellaneous to measure the pressure difference and time, but note in the report
