Overview
PN-DPT toilet paper dispersion tester is a testing instrument developed according to the national standard GB/T 20810, which is mainly used for the dispersibility test of roll toilet paper, flat toilet paper, disc toilet paper and other products. The dispersibility of toilet paper refers to the characteristics that it can be turned into flocculent in water. The instrument is mainly composed of plum blossom tube, rotor, motor, Gas flow rate meter, with convenient operation, accurate timing, low noise, environmental protection, stable performance, economical and durable characteristics. It is widely used in toilet paper and hygiene products manufacturers, Quality control units, mass supervision departments, Universities & colleges and other unit laboratories.
Features
1. Touchscreen display, Chinese and English menus, man-machine dialogue mode, microcomputer control, simple operation, economical and durable;
2. High-speed DC motor, Rotation speed digital setting;
3. The pressure regulating valve regulates the air pressure, and the Gas flow rate meter regulates the throttle Flow rate;
4. The water inlet time can be set, and the water inlet is automatic, which is convenient for operation.
Principle
The instrument drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the plum barrel through the motor to form a stable vortex water flow. The sample is vertically placed in the center of the vortex and tested at the set Rotation speed and time. After the test, it is judged whether the dispersibility is qualified by observing whether the sample is dispersed into one or more fragments.
Applications
Laboratories of toilet paper and sanitary products manufacturers, Quality control units, mass supervision departments, Universities & colleges
Standards
GB/T 20810-2018 "Toilet paper (including sanitary base paper) "
Steps
1. Take any roll (bag or plate) of toilet paper and take two 100mm x 100mm samples (finished layer).
2. Fill the plum blossom tube with tap water.
Rotation speed of the rotor is set to 350rpm. After the vortex in the cylinder is stabilized, the height from the water surface to the bottom of the vortex is about one-third of the total height of the water surface in the cylinder.
4. Set the experiment time.
5. Place the paper surface perpendicular to the horizontal plane in the middle of the vortex in the cylinder.
After 6.40 seconds, turn off the motor and stop ventilation.
7. Observe whether the sample in the cylinder is scattered, and the appearance of one or more fragments is judged to be qualified for the dispersibility of the sample, otherwise it is judged to be unqualified.
Notice
• Power supply voltage AC220V 50Hz.
The sample size should be 100 x 100mm.
• Before testing, ensure that the water volume in the plum blossom tube is appropriate and the vortex is stable.
• The gas source pressure should be controlled at 0.4 +/- 0.02Mpa, and the gas source Flow rate should be controlled at 10 +/- 0.5L/min.
• When operating, please put the paper surface perpendicular to the horizontal plane into the center of the vortex.
• Observe and record the results in time after the test.
• Please follow the instrument specifications and instructions for operation and maintenance.
