Overview
The PN-SPA toilet paper absorption speed tester is a professional instrument developed by the PNSHAR brand according to the national standard GB/T8938-2018, which is used to determine the absorption speed of sanitary napkins, pads and other products. Absorption speed refers to the time required for the sample to absorb a certain amount of test solution, expressed in seconds. This indicator directly reflects the absorption capacity of the product in the face of liquid instantaneously. Fast absorption speed helps to keep the surface dry. The instrument adopts modern mechanical design concepts and ergonomic principles, and is equipped with a high-speed ARM processor. It has a novel design, convenient use and excellent performance.

Principle
The instrument adds a set volume of test solution dropwise to the sanitary napkin sample placed on the arc-shaped sample holder through the automatic liquid filling device, and automatically starts the timing. When the solution is completely absorbed by the sample, the instrument automatically stops the timing, and the recorded time is the absorption speed of the sample, expressed in seconds (s). The whole process realizes the automation of positioning, liquid filling and timing.

Steps
1. Connect the AC220V power supply and start the instrument.
2. Place the sanitary napkin sample flat on the curved sample holder of the instrument.
3. Through the parameter setting module, set the required liquid volume (e.g. standard 5mL) and test interval.
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically completes the positioning, adds liquid, and starts timing.
5. The solution to be tested is completely absorbed by the sample, and the instrument automatically stops timing and records the results.
6. Read or record the displayed absorption time (seconds).
Notice
* Please use an AC220V +/- 10%, 50Hz power supply and ensure good grounding.
* Net weight of the instrument is about 40kg, so pay attention to safety when moving and placing.
* The weight of the test module is 127g +/- 2.5g, please handle it with care when using it.
* The setting of the liquid addition volume should be within the range of the instrument (0.1 to 10.0mL).
The interval time setting should be within the range of (20 to 99) seconds.
Before testing, please ensure that the specimen is placed flat in the specimen holder to ensure the accuracy of the test.
* Regularly use the system calibrating module to calibrate the instrument to ensure Test accuracy.
