Overview
PN-PRT48F Cardboard Puncture strength tester is a test instrument designed and developed according to the national standard GB/T 2679.7 to measure the anti-puncture performance of Corrugated Board. It evaluates the anti-damage ability of Corrugated Board boxes when they are hit violently during handling and transportation by measuring the anti-Puncture Resistance (unit Joule J) of Corrugated Board samples. The instrument is mainly composed of racks, bases, splints, pendulum devices, release devices and control boxes. It has the characteristics of compact structure, full function, convenient operation and stable performance. It is suitable for Cardboard, carton production, scientific research and commodity inspection and other enterprises and departments.

Principle
This instrument is designed according to the principle of energy conversion. A triangular prism corner cone (piercing head) designed and produced according to standard geometry is installed on a pendulum of a special shape. The energy consumed by the piercing head to pierce the Cardboard sample into a Hole by means of the kinetic energy of the swinging body is the Puncture Resistance of the sample.
