RUNJIE RJ940 Roughness Gauge is a pocket-sized surface roughness measuring instrument dedicated to the measurement of surface roughness of machined parts. Principle
Mechanical displacement signals are converted into electrical signals through the High Accuracy Piezoelectric Crystal Sensor. The built-in high-speed DSP processor performs professional processing and calculation of the collected electrical signals, and finally displays asperity parameter values such as Ra and Rz on the OLED display.
Applications
Processing industry, manufacturing, testing, commodity inspection and other departments of large workpieces and production line on-site inspection, out of the verification. The measurement of outer circle, plane, cone and length and width of more than 80 × 30mm groove.
Steps
1. Boot preparation: Make sure the instrument has sufficient power, or connect the charger to work while charging.
2. Select parameters: Measurement parameters (such as Ra, Rz, etc.) are selected as needed.
3. Set the sampling length: Select the sampling length of 0.25mm, 0.8mm or 2.5mm according to the measured surface.
4. Place the instrument: Smooth contact the instrument Sensor probe (the protection door has been opened) with the surface to be tested.
5. Start measurement: Start measurement, the instrument automatically scans the 6mm stroke length and performs data processing.
6. Read the result: After the measurement is completed, read the corresponding asperity parameter value on the OLED display.
7. End the operation: After the measurement is completed, the instrument will automatically turn off the screen and enter the power saving mode after 3 minutes of no operation, or shut down manually.

• Operating temperature 0 ℃ -40 ℃ environment.
• During measurement, make sure that the Sensor Guide pressure does not exceed 0.5N.
• Pay attention to protect the Sensor probe to avoid bumping, and make sure the protective door is closed after use.
• Pay attention to the battery level alarm prompt in time and charge the battery to prolong the Battery life.
