Overview
LS173 is a Handheld color difference meter launched by the LINSHANG brand, model LS173. It is a Portable multi-function instrument with a 3.5-inch IPS color capacitive Touchscreen for good operation. The instrument integrates multiple color cards, which can quickly match the measurement Color with the closest Color Chart number, and has a color difference contrast function. It supports a variety of standard color addition methods. It can set the color difference threshold and select the Color difference formula, which is suitable for QC rapid detection.

Principle
The LS173 Handheld color difference meter uses a D/8 (diffuse illumination, 8 ° viewing angle) optical path structure, including specular reflected light (SCI). The instrument uses a full-light spectrum LED Illuminant to illuminate the measured object, and collects Reflection spectrum data at 10nm intervals in the 400-700nm Wavelength range. Through the built-in Optical inspection Sensor and processor, the Light spectrum data is converted to values in various Color Spaces (such as CIE Lab) according to the standard illuminator D65 and 10 ° field of view conditions, and the color difference calculation and Color Chart matching are performed.

Steps
1. Turn it on and warm up.
2. Use the whiteboard equipped with the instrument to calibrate.
3. Align the instrument measurement port with the sample to be tested, and use the measurement positioning plate to assist in positioning.
4. Color measurement by pressing the measurement button.
5. View the measurement results on the Touchscreen, and perform operations such as color difference comparison and Color Chart matching.
6. Charge via USB (Type-C) interface or connect to PC software for data transmission.
