Overview
The Fungilab CV003-011 Capillary Viscometer is a viscosity measurement instrument based on the Ubbelohde ASTM standard, model 3C, suitable for the viscosity range of 600 to 3000cSt. It determines kinematic viscosity by measuring the flow time of liquids in capillary tubing and is widely used in many industries.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, the time to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer is measured with a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity, and then the time to flow out of the sample from the same Viscometer is measured. The viscosity of the sample is calculated.
