Fungilab CV003-013 Capillary Viscometer is a viscosity measurement instrument based on the Ubbelohde ASTM size 4 standard with a viscosity measurement range of 2000 to 10000cSt. The product is widely used in a wide range of industries for the accurate determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquids.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer, and calculate the viscosity of the sample.

Steps
1. Prepare a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity
2. Time measurement of standard liquid from Capillary Viscometer
3. Prepare the sample to be tested
4. Time measurement of specimen outflow from the same Capillary Viscometer
5. Calculate the viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample
