Overview
Fungilab CV003-101 is a Capillary Viscometer model Ubbelohde DIN size 0 with a viscosity measurement range of 0.35 to 1 cSt. The product is designed based on the principle of liquid flow in capillary tubing and is suitable for accurate measurement of the kinematic viscosity of liquids.

Principle
At a certain temperature, the kinematic viscosity of the liquid is proportional to the flow time when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall. The viscosity of the sample can be calculated by measuring the outflow time of the sample from the same Viscometer using a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity.

Steps
1. Prepare a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity.
2. Inject the standard liquid into the Capillary Viscometer and measure its outflow time.
3. After cleaning the Viscometer, inject the sample liquid.
4. Measurement of sample outflow time from the same Viscometer.
5. Calculate the sample viscosity according to the standard liquid and the sample outflow time.
Notice
• Make sure the liquid completely wetting the capillary wall.
• Viscometer should be cleaned before measurement to avoid contamination.
Maintain a constant temperature during operation to ensure accuracy.
