Overview
Fungilab CV003-112 is a Capillary Viscometer, model Ubbelohde DIN size IIa, with a viscosity measurement range of 100~ 500cSt. It is based on the principle that the flow time of liquids in capillary tubing is proportional to kinematic viscosity and is widely used in many industries.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer. The viscosity of the sample can be calculated.
