Overview
Fungilab CV003-110 is a Capillary Viscometer, model Ubbelohde DIN size IVc, with a viscosity measurement range of 6000 to 30000cSt. The instrument is designed based on the principle that the flow time of liquids in capillary tubing is proportional to kinematic viscosity and is widely used in many industries.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, first use the liquid with known kinematic viscosity as the standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer, and calculate the viscosity of the sample.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity to calibrate and measure its time from capillary tubing
2. Load the sample to be tested into the same Capillary Viscometer
3. measurement of time from capillary tubing
4. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample
