Overview
The Fungilab CV004-106 Capillary Viscometer is a Cannon-Fenske Opaque viscosity measurement instrument with a viscosity range of 20 to 100cSt. It is based on the principle that the flow time of the liquid in capillary tubing is proportional to the kinematic viscosity, and the sample viscosity is calculated by measuring the known viscosity standard solution and the sample outflow time.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer, and calculate the viscosity of the sample.
