Overview
The Fungilab CV004-107 Capillary Viscometer is a Cannon-Fenske Opaque size 300 viscosity measurement instrument for the measurement of kinematic viscosity in liquids from 50 to 200cSt.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer. The viscosity of the sample can be calculated.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity for measurement of its outflow time from the Capillary Viscometer
2. Measurement of sample outflow time from the same Viscometer
3. Calculate the viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample

• Ensure that the liquid completely wetting the wall in capillary tubing
