Overview
Fungilab CV004-109 is a Capillary Viscometer, model Cannon-Fenske Opaque size 400, with a viscosity measurement range of 240 to 1200 cSt. It is based on the principle that the flow time of liquids in capillary tubing is proportional to kinematic viscosity, and is widely used for accurate determination of liquid viscosity in various industries.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, first use the liquid with known kinematic viscosity as the standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer, and calculate the viscosity of the sample.
