Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer. The viscosity of the sample can be calculated.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity to measure its outflow time in the Capillary Viscometer
2. Inject the sample to be tested into the same Viscometer and measure its outflow time
3. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample
