Overview
The Fungilab CV004-209 Capillary Viscometer is a Cannon-Fenske Routine size 400 viscosity measurement instrument with a viscosity measurement range of 240 to 1200cSt. The product is based on the principle of capillary method and calculates kinematic viscosity by measuring the flow time of liquids in capillary tubing.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. When measuring, use a liquid with known kinematic viscosity as a standard, measure the time it takes to flow out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then measure the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer, and calculate the viscosity of the sample.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity to calibrate and measure its time from capillary tubing
2. Load the sample to be tested into the same Capillary Viscometer
3. measurement of time from capillary tubing
4. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample
