Overview
Fungilab CV004-212 is a Cannon-Fenske Routine Capillary Viscometer with size 600 and a viscosity measurement range of 4000 to 20000cSt. The instrument is designed based on the principle that the flow time of liquids in capillary tubing is proportional to the kinematic viscosity, and is suitable for accurate measurement of the kinematic viscosity of liquids.

Principle
At a certain temperature, the kinematic viscosity of a liquid is proportional to the flow time when it flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall. The viscosity of the sample is calculated by measuring the time it flows from the Capillary Viscometer using a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity, and then measuring the time it flows from the same Viscometer.

Steps
1. Prepare a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity
2. Time measurement of standard liquid from Capillary Viscometer
3. Prepare the sample liquid
4. Time measurement of specimen outflow from the same Capillary Viscometer
5. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the flow time
