Overview
Fungilab CV006-001 is a Capillary Viscometer with U-tube countercurrent design, BS/IP/RF compliant, size 1, suitable for liquid measurement in the viscosity range of 0.6 to 3 cSt.

Principle
At a certain temperature, the kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of completely wetting the pipe wall. The sample viscosity is calculated by measuring the outflow time of a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity, and then measuring the sample outflow time.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity and measure its time from the Capillary Viscometer.
2. The measurement time of the sample flowing from the same Viscometer.
3. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample.
Notice
• Ensure that the liquid completely wetts the tube wall in capillary tubing.
Maintain constant temperature during measurement.
• Viscometer calibrated before use to avoid errors.
