Overview
The Fungilab CV006-009 Capillary Viscometer is a U-tube counter-flow viscosity measurement instrument designed with Ubbelohde, conforming to BS/IP/RF standards, with a viscosity measurement range of 6000-30000cSt.

Principle
At a certain temperature, when the liquid flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall, its kinematic viscosity is proportional to the flow time. The measurement of the liquid with known kinematic viscosity is used as a standard, and the measurement of the time it flows out of the Capillary Viscometer, and then the measurement of the time it takes for the sample to flow out of the same Viscometer, and the viscosity of the sample is calculated.
