Fungilab CV006-010 is a Capillary Viscometer model U-Tube Reverse Flow BS/IP/RF size 10 designed for the measurement of kinematic viscosity of liquids from 20,000 to 100,000 cSt.

Principle
At a certain temperature, the kinematic viscosity of the liquid is proportional to the flow time when it flows in an upright capillary tubing in a state of complete wetting of the tube wall. The viscosity of the sample is calculated by measuring its outflow time using a standard liquid with known kinematic viscosity, and then measuring the time the sample flows out of the same Viscometer.

Steps
1. Use a standard liquid of known kinematic viscosity for measurement of its outflow time from the Capillary Viscometer
2. Measurement of sample outflow time from the same Viscometer
3. Calculate the viscosity of the sample according to the outflow time of the standard liquid and the sample

Maintain constant temperature during measurement
